Dr. Lim Siew Kuan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2002, before obtaining her Master of Medicine (Surgery) at the same university in 2006. She completed her specialisation in General Surgery and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2011.
Dr. Lim has special interest in breast surgery. Specifically, in the management of both benign and malignant breast conditions. She received a Health Manpower Development Programme scholarship in 2013, and subsequently finished her sub-speciality training at the Center for Breast Cancer and National Cancer Center (Korea). At the centre, she learnt the latest advancements in breast cancer management, as well as breast oncoplastics and reconstructive surgery. To further her skills in minimally invasive breast surgery, and partial or full breast reconstruction, she enrolled in observerships with several renowned hospitals in Korea and Japan (Yonsei Severance Hospital, Kameda Medical Center, and Nakagami Hospital).
Throughout her career, Dr. Lim has served as visiting consultant at Khoo Teck Puat and Changi General Hospital.
Dr. Lim currently practises at SOG – SK Lim Breast & General Surgicare, located at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre, and Farrer Park Hospital.
